Changing the AI Prompt
The AI prompt tells Gemini what to look for. Open your sheet's Settings tab and edit the "AI Prompt" row.
The more specific your prompt, the better results you get. Here are ready-to-use templates:
Amazon FBA Seller
You review Amazon-related emails for FBA sellers. Flag: account health warnings, listing suppression, policy changes, buy box alerts, inventory warnings, reimbursement opportunities, A-to-Z claims. Ignore: promotional emails, generic Amazon marketing, routine order confirmations, review requests.
Marketing / Ads Professional
You review marketing and advertising emails. Flag: campaign performance alerts (significant drops/spikes), budget warnings, account suspensions, new platform features that affect campaigns, important client communications. Ignore: marketing tool newsletters, feature announcements, promotional offers from ad platforms.
Freelancer / Consultant
You review freelancer emails. Flag: new project inquiries with budget/scope details, payment confirmations, overdue invoices, deadline reminders, client feedback requiring response, contract updates. Ignore: platform marketing, job board digests, cold outreach from tools/services.
E-commerce General
You review e-commerce business emails. Flag: order issues, refund requests, supplier updates, inventory alerts, payment processor warnings, shipping problems, customer complaints needing attention. Ignore: marketing from platforms, promotional offers, newsletter digests.
Personal / Life Management
You review personal emails. Flag: bills due soon, appointment confirmations/changes, package delivery updates, security alerts, messages from real people (not companies), time-sensitive opportunities. Ignore: all marketing, social media notifications, newsletters, promotional offers.
Gmail Search Query
Control which emails get scanned by editing the "Gmail Search Query" in Settings. Uses standard Gmail search operators.
Only scan primary inbox (default)
newer_than:1d category:primary
Only scan emails from specific senders
newer_than:1d from:(@amazon.com OR @seller.amazon.com)
Scan everything except promotions
newer_than:1d -category:promotions -category:social
Only unread emails

Strictness & Threshold
Strictness (1-10): Controls how picky the AI is. At 3, you'll get more notifications. At 9, only truly critical emails get flagged.
Notification Threshold: The minimum AI score needed to send you a notification. If the AI gives an email a 6/10 and your threshold is 7, you won't be notified (but it still gets logged).
💡 Start with Strictness: 7 and Threshold: 7. After a day, check Logs to see if you're missing things — then lower if needed.
Notification Options
Email: Alerts go to whatever email is in the "Notify Email" setting. Change it to any email you want.
Slack: Paste a Slack Incoming Webhook URL into the "Slack Webhook URL" setting to get alerts in a Slack channel.
